Success Stories

Joseph L.
MCAT
Essentially, I had no idea how to study for this test before taking the prep course. I was intimidated and didn't know where to start. Definitely, I knew exactly how to study for the test after completion of the Princeton Review course.

Matthew B.
MCAT
The Princeton Review gave a comprehensive overview of the test subjects and consistently helped me refine my skills. My practice test scores were 501, 505, 512, and 518 showing how my goal was achieved gradually over the course.

Maria H.
MCAT
Everything about The Princeton Review - content, instructors, customer service - is zero stress. The content is accessible, not unnecessarily in-depth, but thorough (with loads of practice on every specific topic).

I took the TPR 513+ MCAT course from September-January of this year and highly, highly recommend it to anyone taking the MCAT. Specifically, I want to thank biology professor Mustafa G for singlehandedly being INSTRUMENTAL in my success. There were numerous professors I interacted with (around 30 different ones, maybe more!). I am a third time test ... read more taker and my score improved by 12 points from my first and second attempts. Mustafa was not my main course professor (he did not teach my biology courses), but taught many of the topic focus sessions that are included in the course. I attended one of his courses on Genetics, my weakest MCAT topic, and fully understood everything after only an hour and a half - better than I understood genetics when I took it in college! In addition, he spent 3 HOURS after the course sitting on camera with me and giving me MCAT advice. I could not believe his willingness to sacrifice so much time to help me . . . Especially considering he was not my main course instructor! From that point on I attended every Office Hour and Topic Focus session I could that he specifically taught and for the next 2.5 months he always made sure to answer every question I had about the MCAT. If he did not get to answering all of my questions due to other students and running out of time, he answered them promptly within a few days over email. Moreover, I want to mention he didn't only help me with biology topics, but helped me understand the test itself and strategies to improve STRATEGY (how to review practice exams, what to pay attention to in passages, etc). Mustafa is one of the most well spoken, informed, patient, and resourceful professors I have ever come across during my academic career and the Princeton Review is very lucky to have him on the staff. He goes the extra mile to help his students, and you can tell he genuinely wants them to succeed. If every professor at the Princeton Review copied his teaching style, everyone taking the course would get over a 510 on the MCAT, I am CONVINCED. I will be recommending the Princeton Review's course to anyone who asks and specifically mentioning him by name.
